Music for everyone

Clavier Music Studio offers professional instructions in piano performance as well as music theory and history for all ages and levels at our Maple Ridge studio. Serving students from Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Langley, Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam.


Starting from 2012, CMS awards top students in 3 categories to praise their hard work and achievements throughout the year. All winners are announced at every winter recital.

Clavier Music Studio Awards Criteria

1. One medal per each qualified student only.

2. CMS awards are available for current Clavier Music Studio students only.

3. Only the qualified students will be awarded.

4. Maximum top 3 students will be chosen in each award category. 

5. Winners will be announced at Winter Studio Recital.

<Three Awards available>

a. Top Students Overall - Achieved high standings in practical exams, auditions, competitions, recitals.

                                      - Attendance and Preparedness for each class count as well

                                      - Maximum top 2 students will be chosen

b. Top Theory Students –At least First Class Honors Standing (80-89%) in RCM or Conservatory Canada theory/harmony/history exams

                                     -Maximum top 3 students will be chosen

c. Top Recital Performer -Based on all your performances through studio recitals, Music Outreach and other performance opportunities given throughout the year.

                                    -Maximum top 2 students will be chosen

d. promising student - high potential in music field

                                    - highly dedicated and well prepared for any performances
